Sydney, Australia [and The Things Conference, AMSTERDAM] – 24 September 2025 – Morse Micro, the world’s leading provider of Wi-Fi HaLow silicon solutions, today announced a new technology partnership with Browan Communications to accelerate the adoption of Wi-Fi HaLow™ worldwide. Together, the companies will grow the Wi-Fi HaLow ecosystem and bring the next generation of Internet of Things (IoT) products to market at scale.
With a focus on transforming wireless technology into IoT value, Browan Communications is dedicated to developing a next-generation access point powered by Morse Micro’s MM8108 chip. This will enable 43Mbps throughput at extended range thanks to 256QAM modulation rate and 26dBm internal PA on MM8108. Once introduced to market, the access point will provide the foundation for a new generation of Wi-Fi HaLow devices, supporting AI at the edge and intelligent IoT 2.0 applications.
This partnership represents a significant step in growing the infrastructure and ecosystem of Wi-Fi HaLow, the Wi-Fi Alliance standard designed for the IoT. With its ability to deliver multi-megabit throughput at extended range, Wi-Fi HaLow is set to transform connectivity for IoT 2.0 applications across smart cities, industrial IoT, and connected homes.
“Collaborations like this will accelerate the adoption of IoT 2.0,” said Michael De Nil, co-founder and CEO of Morse Micro. “By combining the performance of our MM8108 chip with Browan’s expertise in wireless access technologies, we’re enabling a new class of connected devices and paving the way for Wi-Fi HaLow to scale across industries and applications.”
“Wi-Fi HaLow is redefining what’s possible for IoT connectivity,” said Henry Huang, CEO, Browan Communications. “Our cooperation with Morse Micro allows us to accelerate innovation and deliver real-world solutions that unlock the next generation of IoT – from autonomous systems to next-generation smart energy and beyond.”
